Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz leaves for first official visit to China

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz departs for China today, marking her first official international visit since assuming office. The visit comes at the invitation of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and is scheduled to last from December 8 to 10.

Accompanied by a 10-member delegation, including prominent leader Marriyum Aurangzeb, Maryam Nawaz will tour major Chinese cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou.

The trip also includes her participation in an investment conference, aiming to strengthen economic ties and explore collaborative opportunities between Punjab and China. This visit underscores a growing focus on fostering regional partnerships and advancing mutual interests.
