The General Elections 2024 were held on February 8, 2024, to elect members of the National Assembly and the Provincial Assemblies of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan. The election was contested by PTI-backed independent candidates, PML-N, PPP, MQM-P, JUI-F, and several other political parties. Following the election and allocation of reserved seats, PML-N and PPP formed a coalition government at the federal level.
The election process was supervised by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), while results were announced constituency by constituency after vote counting across the country.

Election Result 2024 in Pakistan
The 2024 election resulted in a fragmented mandate, with PTI-backed independent candidates emerging as the largest bloc on general seats. PML-N secured the second-largest number of seats while PPP maintained its strong position, particularly in Sindh. After coalition negotiations and reserved seat allocations, PML-N and PPP formed the federal government.
