Bilawal says only Kashmiris have the right to decide Kashmir’s future

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that only the people of Kashmir have the right to decide the future of the region, stressing that no one else can make that decision on their behalf.
In a message shared on social media platform X on Friday, Bilawal said the future of Kashmir cannot be decided by Islamabad or by any of Pakistan’s provinces, including Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan or Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He reiterated that the right to determine Kashmir’s future belongs solely to the people of Kashmir and said their voice should remain central to any decision concerning the region.
Bilawal also called on voters to support Pakistan Peoples Party candidates in the Azad Jammu and Kashmir elections on July 27 by casting their votes for the party’s election symbol, the arrow.
He said electing PPP candidates would strengthen the struggle for equal rights and help ensure that the decision regarding Kashmir remains in the hands of the Kashmiri people alone.
