KP Chief Minister Submits Reply in PTI ‘Release Force’ Case, Denies Force Ever Existed

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has submitted a written reply before the Constitutional Bench in the case related to the alleged “PTI Release Force,” categorically denying that any such force was ever formed.
According to the reply, the claims regarding the establishment of a “PTI Release Force” are baseless. The provincial government maintained that no organization by that name has ever existed.

The response further clarified that the initiative in question is actually the “Rehai Aman Tehreek,” which has been described as a peaceful, non-violent and voluntary movement. It stated that the movement is not an armed force or militia and has no connection with any unlawful activities.
Chief Minister Sohail Afridi’s reply argued that the petition filed before the Constitutional Bench is not maintainable under the law. On this basis, the court has been requested to reject and dismiss the petition.
The case relates to allegations concerning the formation of a so-called “PTI Release Force.” However, the KP government’s official stance is that the alleged force never came into existence and that the movement being referred to is solely a peaceful and voluntary campaign.
