The counting process began after polling ended, and election authorities are continuing to compile results from polling stations across all constituencies. Since the results received so far remain unofficial and incomplete, the overall electoral picture is expected to become clearer as more votes are counted.

Early trends suggest that candidates from the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Independent candidates, and other political groups are competing strongly in different districts, including Gilgit, Skardu, Nagar, Hunza, Diamer, Ghizer, Ghanche, Astore, Shigar and Kharmang.

The elections witnessed active participation from voters across Gilgit-Baltistan, with polling stations remaining busy throughout the day. Election officials reported a smooth voting process, while security arrangements remained in place to ensure peaceful polling.

Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Election Commissioner Raja Shahbaz Khan said he visited multiple polling stations to monitor the electoral process and expressed satisfaction over the conduct of the polls. He thanked voters for turning out in large numbers and noted that polling continued at stations where voters were still waiting to cast their ballots at the official closing time.

According to the Chief Election Commissioner, more than 15,000 security personnel were deployed across the region to maintain law and order during the elections. He described the polling exercise as historic and said the voter turnout reached approximately 70 percent, which is higher than the turnout recorded during the 2020 Gilgit-Baltistan elections.

Raja Shahbaz Khan stated that no major complaints had been received during polling and emphasized that the elections were conducted in a peaceful and orderly environment throughout Gilgit-Baltistan.
