The Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly election is scheduled to be held on 7th June 2026 to elect members of the 33-seat assembly. Major political parties including Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F (JUI-F), Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM), Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), and independent candidates are expected to contest the election.
