Aleema Khan warns of public reaction over denial of access to Imran Khan

Aleema Khan, the sister of former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has once again raised concerns over restrictions on family meetings and legal access to her brother at Adiala Jail.
In a statement circulating on social media, Aleema Khan said that if justice is not ensured for Imran Khan, the public may take to the streets in protest. She maintained that the demand is not for any special treatment, but for the implementation of legal rights and fair treatment in accordance with the law.

According to the statement, Aleema Khan alleged that Imran Khan has been denied adequate access to family members and legal representatives for an extended period. She said the restrictions on meetings have raised serious questions regarding his condition and access to basic rights.
PTI leaders have repeatedly voiced concerns in recent weeks over Imran Khan’s health, prison conditions, and access to legal counsel and family members. The party has called for improved access and transparency regarding his welfare.
Government officials and prison authorities, however, have previously maintained that Imran Khan is receiving all facilities and medical care in line with prison regulations and court directives.
