AIOU Announces Admissions For Autumn 2026 Semester From July 1
• Allama Iqbal Open University will begin Autumn 2026 admissions on July 1.
• Admissions will be offered for programs ranging from Matriculation to PhD level.

Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has announced the admission schedule for its Autumn 2026 semester, with applications for all academic programs set to open across Pakistan from July 1, 2026.

The university will offer admissions in a wide range of programs, from Matriculation and Intermediate to Bachelor’s, Master’s, MPhil and PhD levels. The admission process will be conducted simultaneously throughout the country, including all four provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and other northern regions.
AIOU has also confirmed that overseas Pakistanis and international students will be able to apply for various academic programs, expanding access to education beyond Pakistan’s borders.
According to the university administration, admission forms and prospectuses for all programs will be made available online from July 1 through the university’s official website. This will allow students to complete the application process from their homes without the need to visit university campuses.
To assist applicants, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nasir Mahmood has directed all 53 regional offices of the university to establish Student Facilitation Desks before the admission campaign begins. These desks will provide guidance regarding admission requirements, online applications and other student-related queries.
The university will also offer free computer and internet facilities at its regional offices to help applicants submit their online forms without difficulty.
