Pakistan registered their first win of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in commanding fashion, defeating the Netherlands by 37 runs through an impressive all-round performance led by Gull Feroza’s unbeaten half-century and a clinical bowling display.
After being asked to bat first, Pakistan posted 126-6 in their allotted 20 overs. Opener Gull Feroza anchored the innings brilliantly, remaining unbeaten on 63 to hold the batting together. Ayesha Zafar provided crucial support with a well-made 32, helping Pakistan set a competitive target of 127.

In reply, the Netherlands never managed to build a meaningful partnership as Pakistan’s bowlers maintained control from the outset. The Dutch side was eventually bowled out for 89, handing Pakistan a convincing 37-run victory and their first points of the tournament.
