Bushra Bibi granted interim bail in multiple cases until January 13

The District and Sessions Court has granted interim bail to Bushra Bibi, the wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, in connection with multiple legal cases, including those linked to the November 26 protests. The interim bail will remain in effect until January 13, providing temporary relief amid ongoing legal challenges.
Duty Judge Shabeer Bhatti presided over the hearing of bail petitions filed by Bushra Bibi. She appeared in court with her legal team to seek bail in a total of seven cases—four registered at Tarnol police station and three at Ramana police station. The court approved her bail upon submission of surety bonds of Rs. 50,000 for each case.

Separately, on December 21, the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Rawalpindi granted Bushra Bibi interim bail in 32 cases, which include 23 cases related to the violent incidents of May 9. These cases were registered in various locations, including Rawalpindi, Attock, and Chakwal.
During the ATC hearing, her lawyer Faisal Malik argued that the cases against Bushra Bibi were politically motivated and part of a campaign of retaliation. He described the accusations as baseless and emphasized her voluntary surrender to the ATC to face the legal proceedings.
To secure her bail, Bushra Bibi provided the required surety bonds as mandated by the court. Following the completion of the legal formalities, she left the court premises.
