The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque in Saudi Arabia has launched a range of advanced high-tech services aimed at enhancing the experience for Umrah pilgrims. These innovations are designed to make the pilgrimage journey smoother, safer, and more accessible for millions of visitors worldwide, allowing them to focus on their spiritual practices with minimal logistical concerns.
Among the latest developments is an interactive, multilingual map that provides precise navigation within the expansive mosque complex. This digital map guides pilgrims to essential service facilities, including restrooms, health centers, Zamzam water distribution points, and carts. The interactive map, which is accessible in multiple languages, significantly reduces potential communication barriers for international pilgrims, facilitating a more seamless and inclusive experience within the holy site.

Additionally, the authority has implemented specialized children’s safety bracelets to enhance family support. These bracelets, available at the Ajyad Gate and King Fahd Gate, contain contact information for parents, enabling mosque staff to swiftly reunite lost children with their families in the event of separation.
