Gold Prices Drop by Rs1,100 Per Tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a notable decline on Saturday, with the rate per tola (11.66 grams) dropping by Rs1,100 to settle at Rs276,200, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). The price of 10 grams also fell by Rs943, reaching Rs236,797.

This drop comes after a sharp Rs2,100 increase in gold prices the previous day, highlighting the ongoing volatility influenced by international market trends. Globally, gold prices fell by $11, settling at $2,650 per ounce, which includes a $20 premium.

In contrast, silver prices in Pakistan remained stable at Rs3,400 per tola, with no change from the prior session.

Market analysts attribute the fluctuations in gold prices to changing global economic conditions, which are expected to continue driving price trends in the near future.
