A fresh controversy has erupted after religious scholar Allama Nasir Madni made strong comments about actress Momina Iqbal while discussing the ongoing dispute involving businessman Saqib Chadhar. The remarks, shared widely on social media, quickly drew criticism and prompted a public response from the actress.

During a recent speech, Madni questioned Momina Iqbal’s allegations and claimed that she had benefited financially from Saqib Chadhar for several years. He alleged that she received money, gifts, mobile phones and other forms of support before later accusing him of sending inappropriate messages. Madni argued that if any wrongdoing had taken place, responsibility could not be placed on one side alone.

He also accused the actress of using the “woman card” and criticized what he described as unequal treatment within the justice system. In his remarks, he repeatedly questioned the circumstances surrounding the allegations and called for authorities to investigate the matter thoroughly. Madni further claimed that influential individuals often receive different treatment compared to ordinary citizens and said that ultimate accountability rests with Allah.

The comments quickly gained attention online, with clips of the speech circulating across social media platforms and generating mixed reactions from users.

Momina Iqbal has now responded through a series of Instagram Stories, expressing anger over the statements made about her. Sharing screenshots and clips of Madni’s remarks, she questioned whether such a person should be representing Islam while publicly discussing a woman’s dignity and character without evidence.

In another statement addressed directly to Madni, the actress said he had made serious accusations and allegations against her. She emphasized that the matter is currently being heard in courts and that the truth will emerge through the legal process. Momina stated that she would never forgive him for what she described as baseless allegations that damaged her honor and reputation.

Quoting a Quranic verse about accountability, she said that while people may accept false claims, Allah knows the truth and justice will ultimately prevail. She added that the case is now before the courts and that her legal team will handle the matter moving forward.
