‘World Says: Thank You Pakistan’ — Shehbaz Sharif Highlights Pakistan’s Diplomatic Role in Islamabad MoU

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has highlighted Pakistan’s growing diplomatic profile after sharing details of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (Islamabad MoU), describing the development as a significant moment for regional peace efforts.

In a post shared on his official social media account, the prime minister wrote, “World Says! Thank You Pakistan,” while expressing gratitude for the country’s role in facilitating dialogue between the United States and Iran.

According to the post, the Islamabad MoU was signed by US President Donald Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif signing the document in his capacity as a mediator.
The premier’s official page also shared a video clip praising Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts and recognising Shehbaz Sharif’s role in supporting dialogue aimed at easing tensions between Washington and Tehran.
