Security forces have killed 27 India-backed Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists during a series of intelligence-based operations in the Miran Shah area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan district, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
In a statement issued on Sunday, the military’s media wing said the operations were conducted over the past 72 hours as part of continued efforts to eliminate terrorist elements from the region.

According to ISPR, security forces engaged multiple locations being used by militants in Miran Shah. The operations resulted in intense and fierce exchanges of fire between security personnel and the terrorists.
The military said that 27 militants belonging to what it described as the India-sponsored Fitna al-Khawarij were killed during the engagements.
ISPR stated that the successful operations reflect the resolve of Pakistan’s security forces to continue targeting terrorist networks and maintaining peace and stability in the country.
The military did not immediately provide further details regarding the operations, including whether any security personnel were injured or martyred during the engagements. Further clearance and sanitisation operations are expected to continue in the area.
