A police official was killed and four others were injured after a security vehicle travelling in the convoy of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore plunged into a ravine in Haveli district on Friday, police officials confirmed.
The accident occurred in the Chhajl area of Kahuta Haveli, the prime minister’s native constituency, as the convoy was returning from Khursheedabad. The police vehicle reportedly veered off the road before falling into a deep ravine.

Rescue teams responded promptly and shifted the injured personnel to a nearby hospital, where they are receiving medical treatment. The identity of the deceased official has not yet been released.
The exact cause of the accident remains unclear. Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances that led to the crash.
