Both sides issued a strong condemnation of Israel’s continued military actions in Gaza and its recent strikes on Iranian soil, labeling them as clear violations of international law and the United Nations Charter. They called for an immediate cessation of hostilities and emphasized the urgency of facilitating uninterrupted humanitarian aid to the besieged Palestinian population.

President Erdoğan did not mince words during his address at the OIC summit, likening Israel’s actions to the atrocities committed by Nazi Germany. “Just as the spark ignited by Hitler 90 years ago set the world ablaze, Netanyahu’s Zionist ambitions serve no purpose other than dragging the world into disaster,” he said. He accused Israel of weaponizing hunger, systematically targeting civilians in Gaza, and deliberately expanding the conflict into the broader region. “Two million of our brothers and sisters in Gaza have been trying to survive under conditions worse than even the Nazi concentration camps,” Erdoğan added.
He further denounced Israeli operations in the West Bank and warned against the emergence of a new colonial-style “Sykes-Picot order” in the Middle East. “We will not permit a new map to be drawn in blood,” he declared.
In a unified display of solidarity with Iran, both Pakistan and Türkiye reiterated their full support for Iran’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and its right to self-defense under the UN Charter. Erdoğan emphasized that “Iran has the full right to defend itself,” and expressed confidence that the Iranian people, backed by a strong state tradition, would overcome the current crisis. “We are confident that victory will be on Iran’s side,” he said, calling on the international community to prevent Israel from plunging the region into further chaos.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar conveyed warm greetings and congratulations from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to President Erdoğan, applauding Türkiye’s successful hosting of the OIC conference and Erdoğan’s receipt of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum’s leadership award. “Pakistan deeply values its time-tested relationship with Türkiye, founded on shared values, trust, and brotherhood,” Dar stated.
Field Marshal Asim Munir, joining the delegation after concluding an official visit to the United States, participated in the trilateral discussions, underlining the strategic nature of the bilateral ties. The meeting emphasized Pakistan and Türkiye’s shared resolve to deepen cooperation across sectors, including defense, regional security, and economic development.
Both nations agreed on intensifying coordinated diplomatic efforts to address regional challenges, particularly the Iran-Israel conflict, and urged global powers to prioritize de-escalation and peace.
Beyond bilateral and regional concerns, President Erdoğan called for greater unity among Muslim nations. “We are on the threshold of an era in which the Islamic world will play a much greater global role. But first, we must resolve our internal disputes,” he said. Emphasizing a shared future for Istanbul and Tehran, he urged Muslim countries to act collectively as an independent center of power and to resist external attempts to redraw the political map of the Middle East.
