OGRA Slashes LPG Prices for July, Domestic Cylinder Down by Rs87

In a welcome move for consumers, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a reduction in Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) prices for the month of July. The price cut comes amid rising inflationary pressures and is expected to provide modest relief to households relying on LPG for cooking and heating.
According to the official notification issued by OGRA, the price of LPG has been decreased by Rs7.51 per kilogram, setting the new rate at Rs191.80 per kg. The revised prices came into effect on July 1 and will remain applicable throughout the month.

The reduction also impacts domestic usage, with the price of an 11-kilogram LPG cylinder dropping by Rs87.71. Consumers will now pay Rs2,263 per cylinder, down from the previous month’s rate.
The monthly price review is part of OGRA’s regular assessment based on international market trends and the local cost of supply. The latest adjustment comes as a relief to many households navigating rising utility bills and fuel costs across other energy sectors.
