LPG Price Increased By Rs4.96 Per Kg, New Cylinder Rate Announced

  • OGRA has increased the LPG price by Rs4.96 per kilogram.
  • The new LPG price has been fixed at Rs308.76 per kg.
  • An 11.8kg domestic cylinder will now cost Rs3,463.41.

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced an increase in the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), adding further pressure on consumers already facing rising living costs.

According to the latest notification, the price of LPG has been increased by Rs4.96 per kilogram. Following the revision, the official LPG price has reached Rs308.76 per kilogram.

As a result of the increase, the price of a standard 11.8-kilogram domestic LPG cylinder has also gone up. Consumers will now have to pay Rs3,463.41 for the cylinder.

The latest adjustment is expected to impact household budgets, particularly in areas where LPG is widely used for cooking and heating purposes. Many consumers in rural and off-grid regions rely heavily on LPG as their primary fuel source.

The increase comes at a time when inflation continues to affect household expenses, with energy costs remaining a major concern for consumers across the country.

OGRA periodically reviews LPG prices based on market factors and pricing mechanisms. The revised rates will be applicable immediately following the regulator’s latest notification.
