Gold prices surge in Pakistan and global markets

Gold prices saw a significant increase in both domestic and international markets on Wednesday, reflecting continued demand for the precious metal.

In Pakistan, the price of gold rose by Rs2,658 per 10 grams, reaching Rs240,484. Similarly, the per tola rate climbed by Rs3,100 to hit Rs280,500.

On the international front, gold prices also experienced a sharp rise, with an increase of $31, bringing the price to $2,693 per ounce.

The substantial uptick highlights the ongoing volatility in gold markets, influenced by global economic factors and local currency fluctuations. The trend has further solidified gold’s position as a sought-after asset for investors and savers alike.
