Mufti Abdul Qavi praises Momina Iqbal’s marriage decision, sparks online debate
Pakistani religious scholar Mufti Abdul Qavi has shared his views on the ongoing discussion surrounding actress Momina Iqbal, voicing support for her reported decision to marry Hamza Habib and commending her for choosing what he described as the right path.
Speaking on the matter, Mufti Abdul Qavi said he extends his congratulations and appreciation to Momina Iqbal for entering a new phase of life through nikah. He stated that opting for marriage was a commendable decision and expressed admiration for her choice.

According to the cleric, formalising a relationship through nikah is the appropriate course of action and Momina Iqbal deserves respect for taking that step.
During the discussion, Mufti Abdul Qavi also addressed Saqib Chadhar, referring to reports that he is already married to two wives. He questioned why someone with existing marital commitments would become involved in a situation that could generate controversy.
He further suggested that if there was genuine interest in pursuing a relationship, it should have been formalised through nikah rather than remaining undefined.
Mufti Abdul Qavi added that individuals should either remain committed to their current marital responsibilities or take full responsibility through a proper nikah if they intend to enter another relationship.
