HEC Announces Morocco Scholarships For Pakistani Students For 2026-27
• HEC has announced 10 scholarships under the Moroccan Government Scholarship Program 2026-27.
• Selected students will be able to study at public higher education, technical and vocational institutions in Morocco.
• The deadline to submit applications through the HEC portal is June 10, 2026.

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced 10 fully funded scholarship opportunities for Pakistani students under the Moroccan Government Scholarship Program for the 2026-27 academic year.

According to the HEC, the scholarships will enable successful candidates to pursue higher education at public universities as well as technical and vocational institutions across Morocco. The initiative is aimed at strengthening educational cooperation between Pakistan and Morocco while providing students with opportunities to study abroad.
HEC stated that applications must be submitted through its online scholarship portal no later than June 10, 2026. Applicants are advised to complete the application process before the deadline, as incomplete or saved applications will not be considered.
The scholarship program is open to Pakistani and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) nationals who are permanent residents of Pakistan or AJK. However, individuals holding dual nationality are not eligible to apply.
For undergraduate studies, candidates must have completed Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or an equivalent qualification and meet the required age and academic criteria. Applicants seeking admission to Master’s programs must possess a relevant Bachelor’s degree, while candidates applying for PhD studies must hold a relevant Master’s qualification that allows entry into doctoral-level education.
HEC has also made valid test scores mandatory for applicants. Students applying for Bachelor’s programs must provide a valid Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT) score, while applicants for Master’s and PhD programs must submit a valid Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT) score.
The commission advised applicants to use an active email address and mobile phone number while registering on the HEC portal, as all future correspondence regarding the scholarship will be conducted through these contact details.
No hard copies of documents are required during the initial application stage. However, candidates who are shortlisted or nominated later in the process will be asked to submit the necessary supporting documents.
Applicants are encouraged to prepare all required records before applying, including educational certificates, academic transcripts, CNIC and domicile details, passport information, recent photographs, and valid USAT or HAT score reports, depending on their chosen level of study.
