Rakhi Sawant Says She Accepted Islam for Love, Reveals She Has Performed Umrah Eight Times

Indian actress Rakhi Sawant has once again spoken publicly about her religious beliefs, saying she embraced Islam after marrying and that her faith has become an important part of her daily life.
In a recent video statement, Rakhi said she offers all five daily prayers every day, including Fajr, Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha, and also performs Tahajjud prayers at night. She added that she reads the Holy Quran and regularly recites various surahs.

Responding to criticism over her conversion, Rakhi said she accepted Islam because she was in love and rejected the idea that she was the first Hindu woman to embrace the religion after marriage. She argued that interfaith marriages between Hindus and Muslims are common and cited Bollywood personalities as examples while making her point.
Rakhi, who said she changed her name to Fatima after her Nikah, also spoke about Umrah, saying that despite many wealthy people never getting the opportunity to perform the pilgrimage, she has been blessed to perform Umrah eight times. She described it as a blessing from God and said she considers herself fortunate.
