AJK BISE Postpones Intermediate First Annual Exams Due To Lockdown

  • Intermediate first annual examinations in AJK have been postponed until further notice.
  • The decision was taken due to disruptions caused by the Public Action Committee’s lockdown.
  • New examination dates will be announced once the situation improves.

The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Mirpur has postponed the ongoing Intermediate First Annual Examinations across the region until further notice.

According to board officials, the decision was made because of disruptions caused by the lockdown called by the Public Action Committee, which has affected the smooth conduct of examinations in different areas of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

The board stated that all intermediate examinations scheduled under the ongoing first annual examination session will remain suspended until further orders. A revised examination schedule will be issued at a later stage.

In an official notification, the board advised students, parents and educational institutions to stay updated through official announcements regarding fresh exam dates and other important information.

Officials said new dates for the examinations will be announced once the situation returns to normal and adequate arrangements can be made to conduct the exams without any difficulties.
