Bilawal Confident PPP Will Form Next AJK Government After Elections

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has expressed confidence that his party will emerge victorious in the upcoming Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) elections and form the next government in the region.
Addressing a public gathering in Kotli, Bilawal said every visit to the district felt like coming home, describing the bond between the people of Kotli and the PPP as far deeper than politics. He said the party and its supporters shared a relationship built on trust, loyalty, and mutual respect.

Bilawal said PPP leaders and workers had remained united through both prosperous and challenging times. Reflecting on the years when former prime minister Benazir Bhutto lived in exile, he said the party endured significant hardships, but its workers never abandoned the PPP and continued to stand by its leadership.
He paid tribute to senior PPP leader Chaudhry Yasin, praising his unwavering commitment to both the party and the Bhutto family during difficult periods.
Expressing confidence ahead of the polls, Bilawal said, “God willing,” the PPP would form the next government in Azad Kashmir. He urged party workers to work tirelessly to secure victory, adding that he hoped the party would win every seat in Kotli and deliver an even stronger performance than in the previous elections.
Bilawal also said the PPP had been part of the Azad Kashmir government over the past six months and had demonstrated its ability to deliver effective governance.
Reaffirming the party’s stance on the Kashmir issue, Bilawal said the PPP’s relationship with the people of Kashmir spans three generations. He added that the party has consistently highlighted the Kashmir cause on international platforms and would continue advocating for the rights and aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
