Alizeh Shah Hits Back at Dananeer, Says She Never Mocked Her

Pakistani actress Alizeh Shah has responded to claims that she was mocking fellow actress Dananeer Mobeen in a recent social media video.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Alizeh clarified that the video was not directed at Dananeer and said people had wrongly linked it to her.

According to Alizeh, she was simply singing the line “Mosam Zara Sa Bigra” from the song Saiyaara, while the gesture of holding her nose was meant as a joke. She explained that the video was made in a light-hearted manner and had no hidden message.

The actress also stated that she never mentioned Dananeer by name, does not know her personally and has never met her.

Alizeh further said that the situation was being exaggerated unnecessarily and suggested that some people were acting as if everything was about them. She also hinted that the controversy may be connected to the promotion of an upcoming drama project.

In her statement, Alizeh criticized Dananeer’s manager, Umer Mukhtar, accusing him of creating unnecessary controversy. She revealed that she had worked with the same manager around five years ago but ended the professional relationship after only one month.

The controversy started after Dananeer Mobeen sang the popular song Saiyaara during an interview. A few hours later, Alizeh Shah shared a separate video of herself singing the same song.

Many social media users believed Alizeh was indirectly mocking Dananeer, leading to criticism online. However, Alizeh later denied the allegations and clarified that her video had no connection to Dananeer.
