AIOU Online Workshops for Autumn 2024 Begin December 16
The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has announced the schedule for online workshops for BS, B.Ed, and Postgraduate programs for the Autumn 2024 semester. These workshops are set to commence on December 16 and will be conducted through the university’s LMS portal, allowing students to participate virtually.
Login credentials, including usernames and passwords, have been sent to students via SMS. Those who have not received their details are encouraged to contact their nearest regional campus to resolve the issue, according to a press release.

In a student-friendly initiative led by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nasir Mahmood, the duration of the online quiz has been extended. The quiz will now remain accessible for 72 hours starting at 8 AM on the fifth day of the workshop. Students will have 45 minutes to complete the quiz once started, a significant increase from the previous 20-minute limit.
To support students who face challenges accessing computers or the internet, AIOU has made free facilities available at its university campuses. The Vice Chancellor emphasized the university’s commitment to providing all possible support to students for smooth participation in these workshops.
