Saudi’s Flyadeal to Launch Four New Direct Routes Between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan in August

Saudi low-cost airline Flyadeal is set to expand its operations in Pakistan by launching four new direct flight routes at the end of August, further strengthening its presence in the growing aviation market between the two countries
According to reports, the new routes include flights from Riyadh to Islamabad, Peshawar, and Sialkot, along with a Dammam to Karachi service. These flights will begin operating between August 24 and 26, with each route scheduled to run two to three times per week using Airbus A320 aircraft.

The Riyadh–Sialkot route is of particular significance as it marks the return of direct air service between the two cities. The route had previously been suspended following its discontinuation by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) last year. With this move, Flyadeal becomes the sole operator offering direct flights on this route.
This expansion comes at a time when demand for air travel between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia continues to grow. In 2024 alone, approximately 5.9 million passengers traveled between the two nations, with airline seat capacity steadily increasing year over year.
Flyadeal initially entered the Pakistani market in February 2025 with direct flights from Jeddah and Riyadh to Karachi. The addition of these four new routes will effectively double the airline’s service offerings in Pakistan, underscoring the country’s rising importance as a key destination in the region for Saudi carriers.
