PTI’s Focus Remains on Targeting Our Own Armed Forces; Ahsan Iqbal Slams PTI

Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal has sharply criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for allegedly running a divisive campaign against the country’s armed forces, claiming that the party’s actions reveal its disregard for national unity and external threats.
Addressing a public ceremony in Narowal on Sunday, Iqbal said the PTI’s social media activity has deliberately aimed to undermine state institutions at a time when Pakistan faces challenges on multiple fronts. “While India continues to face global embarrassment, PTI’s focus remains on targeting our own armed forces,” he stated, adding that such behavior has now fully exposed the party’s true agenda.

The minister also highlighted the government’s recent economic achievements, noting that Pakistan’s swift recovery from the brink of bankruptcy is unprecedented. “There is no example in the world of such rapid economic stabilization. We have successfully set the country back on the right path,” he said.
Underscoring the importance of unity, Iqbal stressed that Pakistan needs national solidarity now more than ever. He praised the collaborative efforts of the federal government and Army Chief General Asim Munir in steering the country toward development, describing their cooperation as essential for sustained progress.
Iqbal also marked May 10 as a day of symbolic defeat for India, asserting that Pakistan has demonstrated its strength and resilience on the international stage. He lauded the armed forces for their sacrifices and key role in the nation’s fight against terrorism, reaffirming their status as a pillar of national security and pride.
