Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi has described the resignation of the education minister as a major victory for students, saying it reflects the success of their sustained struggle against paper leaks and examination irregularities.
Reacting to the resignation, Priyanka said the Congress party had stood firmly with students throughout their protests and consistently supported their demands for a fair and transparent examination system.

Priyanka also alleged that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is extending its influence across the country’s education system and affecting key institutions and appointments.
Emphasising the role of young people in the protests, she said their voices cannot be suppressed and that the student movement has demonstrated that democracy remains alive. She added that no force can silence students when they unite to demand their rights.
