India Using State-Sponsored Terror to Destabilize Pakistan, Says DG ISPR

Pakistan’s military spokesperson, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, has accused India of orchestrating terrorism as a state policy to destabilize Pakistan, particularly in regions like Balochistan. In an interview with a foreign media outlet, the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) claimed that India, under the leadership of its National Security Adviser Ajit Doval, is actively financing and supporting militant groups to incite unrest inside Pakistan.
“Pakistan firmly believes India is directly involved in funding and facilitating such terrorist activities on our soil,”

The remarks came in the wake of a recent bomb attack in Waziristan that resulted in the deaths of 16 Pakistani soldiers and injuries to more than 20 others. The banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack. Lt Gen Chaudhry alleged that India was behind such incidents by directly facilitating and funding these terrorist outfits. “Pakistan firmly believes India is directly involved in funding and facilitating such terrorist activities on our soil,” he said.
