Reflecting on the sacred journey, Durefishan described Hajj as a story of “sabr, shukar and tawakul” — patience, gratitude and complete trust in Allah. She said the pilgrimage helped her gain a deeper understanding of faith, not merely through words but through practical experiences and personal interactions with fellow pilgrims.
The actress revealed that she performed Hajj alongside her parents, an experience she described as especially meaningful. Despite falling ill on the very first day of Rami, one of the key rituals of Hajj, she said her parents displayed remarkable strength and resilience throughout the pilgrimage, providing support and inspiration during difficult moments.
Durefishan noted that the journey brought together people from different backgrounds who were united by faith and devotion. She recalled forming friendships with fellow female pilgrims and sharing moments of prayer, reflection and companionship throughout the pilgrimage.
“We prayed, cried, laughed and ate every camp food,” she wrote, adding that she heard inspiring stories of taqwa and learned about religion more through practice than through words alone.

One of the central themes of her reflection was emotional healing and spiritual renewal. Durefishan said Hajj allowed her to let go of burdens she had carried for a long time and taught her the importance of surrendering to Allah’s will.
She explained that while it was difficult to fully express everything she gained from the experience, she knew exactly what she was leaving behind — the emotional weight and attachments that had accumulated over time.
According to the actress, detachment from worldly concerns and complete surrender were among the most valuable lessons she learned during the pilgrimage. She described Hajj as a profound spiritual awakening that shifted her focus away from everyday pressures and toward inner peace, humility and gratitude.
Although the physical demands of the pilgrimage left her exhausted, Durefishan said the spiritual rewards far outweighed the challenges.
“My body is in aches, but my heart is fuller than ever,” she wrote, capturing the emotional impact of the journey.
The actress also shared photographs documenting various moments of her pilgrimage, including scenes of pilgrims heading toward the Jamarat area, gatherings with fellow worshippers, meals, rest periods and daily life during Hajj. The images offered followers a personal look at one of Islam’s most significant religious obligations.
Concluding her message, Durefishan extended prayers and well wishes to Muslims around the world, expressing hope that everyone would be granted the opportunity to perform Hajj and experience a transformation that extends beyond the physical journey.
Her reflections drew an outpouring of support from fans and fellow celebrities, many of whom congratulated her on completing the pilgrimage and praised her heartfelt account of the experience.
