Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Yahya Afridi has convened a meeting of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan on June 11 to review proposed amendments to the rules governing the appointment of judges.

According to sources, the meeting will be held under the chairmanship of Chief Justice Yahya Afridi and will focus on examining possible changes to the existing judicial appointment framework.
The Judicial Commission is expected to undertake a detailed review of the proposed amendments during the session. Members of the commission will discuss various aspects of the current rules and assess recommendations aimed at refining the appointment process.
