Gold prices fall by Rs4,600 per tola in Pakistan

  • 24-karat gold drops by Rs4,600 per tola in local market.

Gold prices witnessed a sharp decline in both domestic and international markets on Friday, with the price of 24-karat gold falling by Rs4,600 per tola across Pakistan.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold has decreased to Rs427,436 per tola.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also dropped by Rs3,944, bringing the new rate to Rs366,457.

Silver prices also recorded a decline, with the price of 24-karat silver falling by Rs61 per tola to Rs6,309.

In the international market, gold prices fell by $46 per ounce, bringing the global rate to around $4,050 per ounce.

Sarafa market dealers said the local gold market has recorded a cumulative decline of Rs6,400 per tola over the past two trading sessions, reflecting the downward trend in international bullion prices.
