Dr Nabiha Breaks Silence on Divorce, Levels Serious Allegations Against Ex-Husband

Dr Nabiha has publicly spoken about her divorce for the first time, sharing her side of the story and making several allegations against her former husband. She said she had filed for khula, while a divorce notice was later sent from her ex-husband’s side. According to her, she already knew he intended to divorce her because the purpose for which he had married her had nearly been fulfilled. She alleged that he had already gained the views, fame and social media recognition he wanted.
She said it took her a long time to realise that the man she had married was not sincere with her. Referring to claims that he had supported her, Dr Nabiha said he only stood by her because she was already receiving significant media attention and giving interviews at the time. She added that she did everything possible to make the marriage work but was ultimately unable to save it. Responding to criticism that she advises women to save their homes while being unable to save her own marriage, she said, “Yes, I could not save my own home.”

Dr Nabiha also made allegations regarding financial matters, claiming her former husband benefited financially from her as much as he could. She said she fulfilled every responsibility as a wife, including washing and ironing clothes, cooking meals and managing household affairs. According to her, the vlogs they filmed together are evidence of her efforts. However, she claimed that even in those videos, instead of appreciating or treating her well, remarks were often made against her.
Her statements have since gone viral across social media, while her former husband has not yet publicly responded to the allegations.
