A case has been registered against Punjab Assembly member Saqib Chadhar and others. The FIR includes allegations of cyber harassment, blackmail, threats and unlawful surveillance.

Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal has filed a complaint under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA), resulting in the registration of a case against Punjab Assembly member Saqib Chadhar and several other individuals, according to reports.

The First Information Report (FIR), registered with the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), states that Momina Iqbal accused Saqib Chadhar, his wife Sameera Khan and several associates of involvement in cyber harassment, blackmail and unauthorized monitoring of her private affairs.

According to the complaint, the actress alleged that she and members of her family were subjected to threats during the course of the dispute. The FIR further claims that the accused individuals continued to obtain information related to her personal life and allegedly monitored certain aspects of it without her consent.

Momina Iqbal also alleged that the matter began after she declined a marriage proposal upon learning that Saqib Chadhar was already married. Following her refusal, she claimed that she was allegedly subjected to harassment and blackmail.

The FIR further states that private videos were allegedly used in an attempt to pressure the actress after she rejected the proposal. She also claimed in her complaint that false allegations were made against her in 2023, which she says affected a potential marriage arrangement and contributed to its collapse.

The case has been registered under PECA-related provisions, and the allegations outlined in the FIR are expected to be examined as part of the legal process.
