After weeks of public allegations, legal proceedings and intense social media attention, psychologist and media personality Dr Nabiha Ali Khan and her husband Haris Khokhar have officially confirmed that they have reconciled, bringing an apparent end to one of Pakistan’s most widely discussed social media controversies.
The couple announced the development in a video shared online while travelling together, where they addressed ongoing speculation about their relationship and confirmed that they had resolved their differences through mutual understanding.

Speaking in the video, Dr Nabiha explained that the divorce process had never been completed. She said only one divorce notice had been issued, adding that under Islamic law, reconciliation remains possible after a single talaq notice. She confirmed that both families had reached a settlement and decided to continue their marriage.
Haris Khokhar also confirmed the reconciliation, saying the couple held detailed discussions before reaching a mutual agreement. He revealed that they would soon finalize a written agreement covering mutually accepted terms and conditions, after which they would inform the public about the next stage of their relationship.
The reconciliation follows weeks of highly publicized marital disputes that dominated social media. Earlier, Dr Nabiha had approached the Lahore Family Court seeking khula, citing irreconcilable differences and making several allegations against her husband. Around the same time, Haris Khokhar confirmed that he had issued a single talaq notice, while both appeared separately on podcasts and social media platforms, where they levelled serious allegations against each other.
The dispute quickly became one of the most talked-about topics online, with their conflicting statements generating widespread debate and dividing public opinion.
A few days before announcing their reconciliation, Dr Nabiha formally withdrew her khula petition after informing the Lahore Family Court that the matter had been resolved through an out-of-court settlement. Following her request, the court dismissed the petition.
With both Dr Nabiha and Haris Khokhar now publicly confirming their reconciliation, the couple says they are moving forward together and will share further details once their written agreement has been finalized.
