PTI Activist Gulfam Hussain Kiyani Responds to Police Wanted Case, Levels Fresh Allegations Against Nawaz Sharif Family

  • Gulfam Hussain Kiyani says he only raises questions and has no access to official property documents.
  • Claims people ask him to investigate alleged overseas assets linked to the Sharif family.
  • Says he has visited locations in the UK and shared videos based on publicly available information.
  • Claims he has learned police are looking for him over his activities.

PTI activist Gulfam Hussain Kiyani has responded to reports that police are seeking him, saying his only role is to raise public questions and highlight issues through his videos, while denying that he possesses any official documents related to the allegations he discusses.

Speaking during an interview, Gulfam said he had recently visited a building in the United Kingdom that he claimed had previously been featured in media reports. He recalled that journalist Mubasher Lucman had also discussed the same location in the past and said it was already known to many people.

Referring to statements previously made by PML-N leaders, Gulfam said Maryam Nawaz had once stated that her family owned no property in either Pakistan or the United Kingdom. He also mentioned the Panama Papers case, saying that questions about overseas assets had emerged later.

Gulfam acknowledged that he does not have documentary evidence regarding the ownership of any alleged properties. He said even past governments and senior state officials had not been able to obtain such documents, adding that his purpose was only to raise the issue publicly rather than present official records.

He further claimed that once current national security matters settle down, authorities should also investigate such issues. According to Gulfam, he hopes the matter will eventually receive attention from the relevant institutions.

The PTI activist also said he had visited a hospital connected to an incident involving the Sharif family and claimed that a video about what he described as the “real story” had received millions of views on social media.

Gulfam said many people contact him and ask him to visit locations, knock on doors and recover what they describe as public money. However, he said he always tells them he has no authority to do that and can only raise his voice through videos and public discussion.

Commenting on the case against him, Gulfam claimed he had heard that police were now pursuing him because of his activities and online content. He did not provide further details about the reported case.
