Pakistani Rupee Registers Marginal Decline Against US Dollar in Inter-Bank Market
The Pakistani rupee experienced a slight dip against the US dollar in the inter-bank market on Tuesday, depreciating by 0.03%. The currency closed at Rs277.93, a decline of Re0.07 from the previous day’s rate of Rs277.86, according to data from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
In the open market, the rupee exhibited mixed movement. It gained 1 paise for buying but lost 6 paise for selling against the dollar, closing at Rs276.94 and Rs278.83, respectively.

On the global stage, the US dollar remained near a four-month high against major currencies, with the dollar index reaching 105.49, marking a 0.07% increase as of early Tuesday trading.
