Veteran actress Nadia Jamil has spoken out in support of senior actor and writer Mohammed Ahmed following the controversy surrounding a viral video allegedly involving actor Fahad Sheikh.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Nadia Jamil said she was “deeply disturbed and upset” after watching the video. She described Mohammed Ahmed as one of Pakistan’s most respected actors and writers, praising his decades-long contribution to the entertainment industry and his humility despite his remarkable career.

Jamil said Mohammed Ahmed’s kindness and modest nature should never be mistaken for weakness. She alleged that the veteran actor was publicly mocked by “talentless bullies” and said the incident reflected a lack of the basic values of respect and upbringing.
The actress also criticized fellow actress Humaira Bano, claiming that Mohammed Ahmed had specifically requested that the video not be uploaded or shared. According to Jamil, making the clip public only added to his humiliation and embarrassment.
She appealed to social media users to remove the video and stop circulating it, while also urging directors and producers to ensure respectful and healthy working environments on drama sets.
“This is NOT the industry I know and have proudly been a part of for over 32 beautiful years now. Shame!” she wrote at the end of her statement.
The controversy began after Mohammed Ahmed shared a video revealing that a junior actor had mocked him and made personal remarks during a drama shoot. Although he initially did not identify the individual, a separate viral clip later led many social media users to claim that the actor was Fahad Sheikh.
