Salar becomes increasingly concerned about Sitara after witnessing her relatives’ treatment of her. However, concern alone does not resolve their difficulties. As accusations and misunderstandings surround their connection, Sitara must decide whether she can trust his intentions, while Salar faces the consequences of his own choices.
Shahida and Shaukat’s household shapes much of Sitara’s everyday struggle, while Nimi and the wider family circle add further tension. Salar’s family brings its own expectations, creating additional obstacles between two people raised in very different circumstances.
Kaffara explores love, class differences, family greed and the importance of self-respect. Through Sitara’s search for security and Salar’s developing sense of responsibility, it examines how trust depends on consistent actions and the willingness to stand beside someone through adversity.
