Sher Afzal Marwat urges national unity to overcome political crisis
Opposition Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Sher Afzal Marwat on Tuesday called for national dialogue and unity to steer the country out of its current challenges.
Speaking during a Point of Order in the assembly, Marwat emphasized the importance of addressing the chaotic situation gripping the nation and urged all stakeholders to learn from past mistakes. He stressed that political forces must come together to ensure cooperation and prevent further escalation of the crisis.

Marwat highlighted that any meaningful negotiations could only succeed if all political parties agreed on a clear set of terms of reference (TORs). According to him, mutual understanding and coordination are essential for resolving the country’s problems.
In addition to his call for unity, Sher Afzal Marwat expressed concerns about security issues in his constituency. He urged the government to take decisive action against lawbreakers and ensure peace and stability in the region.
