Security Forces Eliminate Two Indian-Sponsored Militants in Balochistan, Foil Terror Plot: ISPR

Security forces successfully neutralized a group of Indian-backed terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Duki district, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed on Sunday.
Acting on credible intelligence regarding the presence of militants associated with “Fitna-e-Hindustan”—a proxy outfit reportedly supported by India—Pakistani forces raided a terrorist hideout. The operation resulted in the killing of two militants and the arrest of two others. A significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosive material was recovered from the scene.

The militants, according to ISPR, were involved in multiple terror activities across the region and posed a continued threat to national security. The military emphasized that the successful operation represents another step in its broader campaign to dismantle networks of foreign-sponsored terrorism within Pakistan.
In a statement following the operation, the military reaffirmed its determination to eliminate Indian-sponsored militancy and declared that all such elements, along with their facilitators, would be brought to justice.
This latest counter-terrorism success comes a day after 13 Pakistani soldiers were martyred in a deadly suicide bombing in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The blast, which also injured two children and a woman, has heightened concerns over the evolving tactics of militant groups operating in the region.
