Pakistan’s Registered Voters Reach Over 134 Million as ECP Updates Electoral Rolls

The number of registered voters in Pakistan has risen to 134,428,577, according to the latest statistics issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) as part of its ongoing preparations for the upcoming general elections. The figures, updated as of July 1, 2025, reflect the commission’s continued efforts to ensure a transparent and accurate electoral process.

Of the total registered voters, 72,124,209 are men, making up 53.65% of the electorate, while 62,344,368 are women, accounting for 46.35%. The data reveals a persistent gender gap in voter registration despite the overall high levels of electoral participation nationwide.

The provincial breakdown shows Punjab as the province with the largest number of voters at 76,563,243, in line with its position as the most populous region of the country. Sindh ranks second with 28,172,274 registered voters. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has 22,874,402 voters, while Balochistan accounts for 5,613,371. The Islamabad Capital Territory has 1,207,287 voters on record.
