Pakistan Crush South Korea 91-6 for Third Straight Win at Asian Youth Netball Championship

Pakistan’s youth netball team delivered a commanding performance on Sunday, overpowering hosts South Korea 91-6 to register their third consecutive victory at the Asian Youth Netball Championship 2025. The emphatic win places Pakistan at the top of Pool B as the tournament progresses in Jeonju, South Korea.
From the opening whistle, Pakistan controlled the pace of the game, racing to a 23-2 lead by the end of the first quarter. The momentum continued to build as they widened the gap to 45-3 at halftime and 70-4 by the end of the third quarter, before sealing the game with a final scoreline of 91-6.

Standout contributions came from several players, including Leya Raza Shah, Alisha Naveed, Haleema, Sarina Hussain, Jasmine Farooq, Farah Rasheed, Amani, Parisa, Sumayya Ahmed, and Alina, all of whom showcased skill and cohesion on court.
This latest win follows earlier victories over Saudi Arabia (71-15) and Chinese Taipei (56-32), extending Pakistan’s unbeaten streak in the tournament. The team is scheduled to face Japan on Monday and the Maldives on Tuesday in their remaining group matches.
The Pakistan Netball Federation credited head coach Amanda Newton for the team’s continued success, acknowledging her “exceptional coaching, technical expertise, and unwavering dedication” in a statement shared on social media.
Held at the Jeonju Hwasan Gymnasium from June 27 to July 4, the Asian Youth Netball Championship features 11 teams divided into two groups. Group A consists of Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, and India, while Group B includes Pakistan, Chinese Taipei, Japan, South Korea, Maldives, and Saudi Arabia.
