Soha and Zaviyar’s relationship develops gradually as he begins helping her family. His involvement brings him closer to her, but his growing affection is complicated by guilt and her difficulty trusting him. Their connection places the possibility of a new beginning alongside the pain of unresolved loss.
Zarqa, Zakia, Kiran, Zara, Asfand, Ayzel, Zimal, Riaz and Fahad form the wider family and social circle. Their relationships add domestic pressures and competing interests to a story in which private choices affect several lives.
Milkiyat explores grief, remorse, betrayal and the possibility of redemption. Through Soha’s resilience and Zaviyar’s struggle with his conscience, it examines whether acts of kindness can repair past harm and whether love can grow where trust remains uncertain.
