Dirham to PKR Rates Today: AED Inches Down to Around Rs 77.00, Stability Prevails – 05 August 2025

The UAE Dirham remained relatively stable against the Pakistani rupee on Tuesday. The open market buying rate stood at approximately Rs 76.95, while the selling rate was near Rs 77.60. This marks a marginal dip compared to very recent levels, signalling a largely steady trend.

Experts note that the Dirham‑rupee parity is heavily influenced by remittance flows from the Gulf, especially as UAE remains a major source for overseas Pakistani workers. A slight easing of the Dirham may reflect stabilising remittances and limited volatility in oil‑linked currencies. Analysts suggest that unless there are significant shifts in Gulf monetary policy or global oil prices, the AED/PKR rate is expected to hover around the current band between Rs 76.90 and Rs 77.10.
