Iqtidar Drama Story
Iqtidar follows Mehr-un-Nisa, a courageous and independent young woman who becomes the primary support for her family after her father’s death. Her determination is tested when her brother Zeeshan loses his life in a road accident involving Zain Shah, the son of influential politician Saman Shah. When the Shah family’s political connections threaten to obstruct justice, Mehr refuses to remain silent and challenges those responsible.
Shahnawaz Shah, Zain’s elder brother, initially finds himself caught between protecting his family and confronting the consequences of their actions. His growing connection with Mehr creates an emotional conflict, as the two come from very different circumstances and hold opposing positions in the dispute. Their relationship develops against a background of mistrust, political influence, and competing family loyalties.
Supporting characters, particularly Saman Shah and Zain Shah, play important roles in shaping the conflict. Saman’s political authority and determination to protect her family’s reputation create obstacles for Mehr’s pursuit of justice. Through these relationships, Iqtidar explores romance, corruption, class differences, power, family expectations, and the difficult choices people face when love and personal principles collide.
