As the story develops, the sisters’ relationship is tested by pain, misunderstandings and competing emotional demands. Their connection provides the family story with its central tension: whether affection can endure when circumstances place loved ones at odds.
The wider family includes Zaibun Nisa, Shehryar, Farheen Ahmed and Salman. Together with the younger characters, they form part of an interconnected story about family responsibilities, broken relationships and the consequences of difficult decisions.
Love, sacrifice, secrets and forgiveness shape the drama’s central themes. Through the experiences of a mother and her daughters, Dastoor explores the strain of family conflict and the possibility of rebuilding damaged bonds.
