The relationship between the four characters forms the foundation of Bulbulay. Their disagreements, conversations and responses to unexpected events turn ordinary household situations into comedy.
Momo’s eccentric behaviour and Mehmood Sahib’s exchanges with the family contribute to the humour, while Nabeel and Khoobsurat bring their own perspectives to each predicament. The characters’ different approaches keep even simple problems from having straightforward solutions.
Bulbulay uses family relationships, everyday frustrations and misunderstandings as the basis for its stories. Its episodic format allows viewers to enjoy a fresh comic situation without following a continuous dramatic storyline.
